Artlogic’s roots lie deep within the art world. Supporting artists across the globe, from the blue chip to the young-and-emerging, is key to Artlogic’s broader purpose: to create a world with more art.

With that in mind, it was with open arms (and a freshly painted wall) that Artlogic welcomed Shantell Martin, renowned visual artist and performer, into the London office this summer, as she kindly agreed to create a standout mural for the space.
Shantell Martin

Known for her large scale, black and white line drawings, Martin has worked with a plethora of iconic household names, the likes of which include: Max Mara, Tiffany & Co, and The North Face, as well as artist Kendrick Lamar and acclaimed designer Kelly Wearstler.

With signature flourishes in her go-to medium of chunky, black permanent marker pen, Martin’s unique mural, entitled Found the Found: Moonlight, explores themes such as intersectionality, identity, and play – representing the elegant connections between the worlds of fine art, design, philosophy, and technology.

Working on a wall measuring five by three metres, Martin climbed, stretched, and crouched to cover the entire space with a continuum of lines – creating an overall sense of interconnectedness.

The mural sits proudly on display in amongst the busy hubbub of a bustling office space – serving as a point of inspiration, a point of conversation, and a point of reference to Artlogic’s creative heritage.

"As an artist that really values organisation, Artlogic has been an invaluable tool for me, my art, and my business." Shantell Martin

Found the Found: Moonlight reminds us that, amongst the everyday, what drives us forward is our passion and commitment to the artistic community. Without art, there is no Artlogic, and Martin’s mural is a poignant reminder that Artrlogic is here to shape the art world of tomorrow and empower a more creative future.
